Hey there- I'm a Boston-area DJ who is coming out to SF for the month of September. My friend and have been doing different soul/funk nights around Boston for several years (Soul Shake @ Highland Kitchen and Rosebud Bar in Somerville and River Gods in Cambridge most recently). I was going to bring out a bunch of 45s and was wondering if there were any opportunities to guest DJ a set somewhere in the SF/Oakland area. Thanks- Jay

The Double Down is a new monthly party featuring the finest in Bay Area live music & DJ's third Thursdays at John Colins.
The party kicks off with a live performance by soul-duo Myron & E backed by a live band. The night also features DJ Guillermo (Sweater Funk) alongside residents E Da Boss & Kung Fu Chris.
